the overdue post

So this is the first ever post for 2014. Kinda late but oh well!

I'm pretty sure ya'll be wondering where i've been the whole time, and f.y.i. i'm in England now.

That pretty much explains everything I guess. For the past 5 months I've been here it has been pretty busy. Well partly because i've got nothing much to blog about. So yeah. but the fact that i'm writing this post now means i've got something to blog about or it's just because I cant sleep.

Either way, I guess since i'm here, I might as well just update ya'll on stuff thats going on in my life before I get lazy and go on an unpredictable hiatus.

LEGGO!

1. Spring is finally here but it's England. Still cold. I miss the beach back in Penang. :(

2. my sleeping pattern is non-existent. A good example would be me typing this post at 4am.

3. struggling with studies. I blame the constant "spoon-feeding" method of teaching back home. Lots of self studying here. Still trying to get the jist of it.

4. Economics is tough. The irony is i'm absolutely hopeless when it comes to Maths and hey ho Economics is full of it. Did I make the wrong decision? Well the good news is I'm still alive but barely.

5. God has been faithful and has been constantly blessing me. Though there are times when I feel like all hope is lost, God never fails to amaze me. Without Him i'd probably go mental.

6. I've done something i've never imagined myself doing. Yep. I'm the new worship coordinator for my Christians Union. Proves how God has worked wonders in me!

7.Finals. Coming real soon and i'm shit scared. 6 modules to study for. GG la.

8. My standard for asian food has dropped so low that any asian food will taste good to me. As a Malaysian, food is a big part of my life and i'm currently deprived of it. Dont get me wrong, there's plenty of food here just that ya know, nothing beats home food. Especially Malaysian food. I cant wait till i get back and indulge myself in some Curry mee, seafood noodles, bak kut teh and what not.

9. I'll be totally honest with ya'll on this one. My university is lacking female eye candies. In true manglish translation "no girls to see la". Don't judge okay! At least this proves i'm still sane haha.

10. expanding on point no.9, my love life is going downhill or rather non-existent to say the least. Why so? (see point no.9) . I am not desperate okay! It's just that you see your friends all paired up and stuff, it just makes you wonder, "when will it be MY turn?". I guess I gotta be patient for now. God's timing is always on point.

11. expanding on point no.10, my feelings are all over the place right now. Which is not helping my current situation at all.


I should be sleeping now, which I would do so shortly.

Thats about it for now. I'll try. TRY. to update frequently.

P.S: What if......

busier than a bee.

Finally have the time to blog a bit and update you fellow readers. SO, ya'll be wondering where in the world I disappeared too innit? To be honest, I've been here all this while, just that sometimes I get too lazy to update ya know? PLUS, with the stress level off the cliff, and my new found addiction: candy crush, and tests and quizzes. Yeah, pretty busy. Thus, the title.


Alright, who am I kidding, am very very very very VERY stressed out right now because:

NO.1- statistics and microeconomics test 2 next week

NO.2- microeconomics assignment due date April 12th. Which is very very near, and I'm only at my intro and I'm stuck already. and at only 295/2000 words done, yeah. screwed.

NO.3- maths test prolly somewhere after agenda NO.1

NO.4- finals in freaking MAY.

NO.5- maintain my 3.50CGPA.


I'll prolly have long white hair like gandalf after all this. Maybe even a long beard, I'll look like dumbledore. wait, gandalf has a beard too...

I seriously have to step up my game. Start my engines and go into hyperdrive! Like soon. Like freaking soon. I can almost here them churchbells ringing in the UK! Fret not! I"ll be there soon enough. I will arise now and go to innisfree! okay. sorry. a bit melodramatic, but you get my point. right? haha




Though the coming weeks will be hectic, I know God will be there for me, He will give me the strength and wisdom I need to overcome all these obstacles. :)




okay, this just hit me, why is that I can blog but not do my assignment!? Priorities!


Then I best be off blogger and on word!

i nearly died.

Yes, the title says it all. WHY? Two days ago, I went hiking with some friends at Bukit Tabur, twas the craziest thing we've ever done btw! During our hike back down, my friend spotted a tiger! it was making that tiger noise hhaha. Luckily we made it down in one piece. Thank God! So yeah, I nearly became tiger food. Hence, the title.



Anyways, the hike though was very dangerous, twas loads of fun! Conquered all 13 peaks! Maximum satisfaction I tell ya! :D I guess I can strike off one of the activities in my bucket list : go mountain climbing (sorta)



A totally unrelated post, got my reference letter from my HELP economics teacher and I have to say, its a very good reference! Hope them brits will offer me a place there now with my new reference.


oh yeah, I'm getting the Kpop Fever again. Yay.


and btw, I am on a one week break, which I have been desperately needing the whole time! Praise the Lord! :)


I just realized, that almost all my posts, have a terrible flow to it. Take for example, exhibit A, above.
Maybe its how I roll eh? Yeah, I think that's how I roll. Its funny how my writing style and my blogging style differs. Usually one would have a similar style for both blogging and writing. Mehhh.

Hello am back! Been having such a stressful week! Such a terrible semester i tell ya! and they said the long semester will be less stressful. Lies. sigh.

Anyways, got my first university offer from swansea :) still waiting for the rest! reading is taking forever :/
Well, I just gotta be patient ;)

Just had my math test today and it was the shittiest thing ever omg. First math test after like 2 math-less year! the last time I had such thing was in spm! At least i survived this time. Hoping for the best! Doing this for You O Lord! Gahhhhh! Totally forgot about my stats test this thursday -____- shucks! Not forgetting micro test next week -.- plus micro assignment will be coming soon. and finally, Finals in may. Life of an economics student.To make things worse, Exam season also means, terrible weather season and sick season. Crazy weather la -.- It's bloody hot in the morning and raining cats and dogs in the evening which will then lead to terrible sinus, wet clothes and wet shoes. Just can't wait to finish all this lah. sigh.


I think I'm going to fall asleep on my keyboard anytime soon, plus its nap time. So, till the next post :)

tough times.

Second semester in university, not as fun as I expected. why? First of all, a crappy time table where I have classes at 8am from Tuesday to Fridays. Thursdays and Fridays being the worst because its 8am till 4/5ish pm. Secondly, subjects just got tougher. This is like only the 3rd maths class I've had and I'm already lost. I haven't been doing maths/addmaths for like 2 years? and all of a sudden the lecturer expects us to remember every thing we've learned in form 5. Not fun at all. Plus, I gotta get at least a distinction for all the subjects and I cannot, I CANNOT fail any continuous assessments, ie; quiz/midterms/assignments. To add to the stress, even if I get 100/100 for my finals but I fail my continuous assessments, it's still a fail overall. yeah.





Lord Jesus, You said, You will never leave me nor forsake me and I know You will provide me with all that I need, for You are my Jehovah Jireh, my Provider and I put my Faith, Hope and Trust in You O Lord. 

I pray O Lord for guidance in everything that I do and Lord, I just want to dedicate all these things into Your hands, In Jesus' name, Amen.




I guess that's about it for today's update. Will try to update soon, provided my timetable doesn't kill me first.
